Some of my clients entrust me with their stories. Recently a client divulged his story over the phone, calling from Spain.

An important point to note, from a scientific perspective, when we are aroused, the disgust part of the brain decreases. Think about it, from some evolutionary perspective, soap, toilet paper and toothpaste didn’t exist for most of human history so it makes sense that the disgust part of the brain goes down
It seems the taboo thrives, where there are no rules, no rationale, no systems, a place where ultimately we can feel zero gravity, if only for a few seconds. Perhaps we experience it in pornography, the heightened sense of enlightenment, why does it feel so freeing when it’s so completely fabricated?
The human erotic imagination is infinite. Our fear response and sexual response are closely linked, for example horror movies, why do you find pleasure and being frightened at the same time?
The taboo nature makes us feel the naughty, why the ‘off limits’ now brings sexual desire and the transgressive nature of it all
There was another story of a man who developed his fetish, at school he was exposed to his teacher farting, whilst on detention, and he became highly aroused, his interest grew from there.
